Health & Safety

The team here at DTS Scaffolding take health and safety extremely seriously and believes that it is of utmost importance. We recognise the responsibility to safeguard the health, safety and welfare of our staff, the public and our customers due to the high risk nature of the business. We have scaffolding risk assessors in Chester that can travel across the region to ensure that complete risk assessments have been undertaken to minimise risk to all involved. A copy of our health and safety policy is available on request.

Risk Assessments and Method Statements

We undertake risk assessments and method statements on every job we undertake and our team of assessors provide comprehensive inspections of the site to determine risks and methods that will reduce the associated risks. It is very important to remember that customers also play an important role in ensuring site conditions are as safe as practicable and control measures they are responsible for are in place.

Health and Safety Assessments

DTS Scaffolding has a generic method statement which defines the working practices that are to be employed. When it has been determined that this needs to be supplemented a site specific method statement is produced defining additional method of work that are to be used on that site. Both risk assessments and method statements are available on request.

All scaffolding erected by DTS Scaffolding will comply with all current health and safety standards as defined by the HSE and other controlling authorities. We employ the services of an in-house NEBOSH qualified health and safety advisor to ensure that our health and safety assessments are completed to the required standards. We also hold fully public liability insurance of £5million, a certificate of which is available upon request.
